Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology separated from the institute and organized the private entity, named as Biochimpharm later in 1999. The company is located in Tbilisi, Georgia. From the very first day of foundation, we started putting our best efforts into BIOCHIMPHARM to improve the manufacturing process, continue producing various classical bacteriophage preparations and renew an existing collection of strains of bacteria with newlyemerged resistant strains in order to develop additional range of highlyeffective preparations.
